September 1st - Manuscripts
Bring along your work in progress or finished pieces to read to the group. Short stories, extracts from novels, poetry or articles - we'd like to hear your work. All manuscript lengths accepted. Constructive feedback given if required.
September 15th - Short Story Competition: 'James Bond's Son'
You are invited to write a short story with a theme of 'James Bond's Son'. Maximum word count 1500 words. There will be a prize awarded to the entry judged best on the night.
October 6th - Manuscripts

October 20th - Guest Speaker: To be announced
November 3rd - Manuscripts

November 17th - Themed Competition: Futuristic Fiction
You are invited to write a short story with a theme of Futuristic Fiction. Maximum word count 1500 words. There will be a prize awarded to the entry judged best on the night.
December 1st - Christmas Story & Raffle
For the last session of the year, bring along a short story or poem on the theme of Christmas. There will also be a free raffle, so please remember to bring along a wrapped prize so you can enter. |
